Nature Walks

I am heading to Asheville for the weekend to visit a good friend and most importantly enjoy one of nature's greatest shows... the fall colors.
I can't wait for the hikes we have planned and to get back to the mountains (however small they are compared to the majestic Colorado Rockies I grew up with).

The Best Time of the Year

Halloween is hands down my favorite holiday of the year. When else do you get to dress up and build costumes from scratch (well of course besides a Gaga concert...)? This year my boyfriend and I are doing a themed costume... Leela and Bender from the animated series Futurama!

With cool weather seemly around to stay I think its time to welcome crisp air, blue skies and crunchy leaves...

And bid adieu to summer picnics and lazy days spent by the pool.

The Queen at McQueen

This season was the first collection completed by Sarah Burton under the Alexander McQueen name since McQueen's tragic passing this past February. Burton, who was McQueen's second in command for nearly 20 years, did an amazing job keeping the well recognized McQueen aesthetic while adding touches of this season's trends and her own touches. I no longer have any worries about the future for this deeply loved brand.
Long Live McQueen.
